Project Summary

A new clean-label beverage was ready to hit the market, but needed naming, identity, packaging, and a go-to-market plan to compete in a saturated category. Our client, a respected coffee and tea wholesaler, had developed a delicious iced beverage with real hydration benefits—and now needed to connect with retail consumers.

Stratwell identified a whitespace between flavored water and sports drinks, and positioned the product to own it. We created the name CULT Botanical Infusions, developed a standout brand identity, and designed high-impact packaging with minimal production spend. To launch on a tight budget, we crafted a hyper-local strategy using retail pilots and student-led teams across Arizona universities.

We helped the client pitch and pilot with major mass retailers and high-profile convenience stores, while securing distribution in Arizona’s most remote, high-demand regions. To drive traction, we collaborated with ASU, GCU, NAU, and the University of Arizona to create real-world projects with students—fueling in-market trials, retailer outreach, and grassroots momentum.
