Project Summary

A well-established sports recruitment app was ready to scale but struggling to differentiate in a crowded, consolidating market. Competing platforms looked and sounded the same. Signing Day needed a sharper value proposition to attract student-athletes—and the parents, coaches, and schools who influence their decisions.

Stratwell utilized its Futurescape System to develop a prioritized segmentation model, revealing two key insights: student-athletes undergo distinct decision-making phases, and parents—often the primary financial decision-makers—are underserved in current messaging. We redesigned the service model with parent-friendly touchpoints, added tools for coach engagement, and introduced a clear three-tier subscription system based on affordability and support level.

The app was restaged with updated messaging, pricing, and onboarding tools across in-app, web, social, and field communication. The team also reorganized its outreach model to better target segmented user groups across online and in-field recruitment efforts.
